I'm with State Farm and pay $460 / 6 months. Full coverage... 1000 collision, 100 comprehensive... but i have motorcycle and house with them as well so i get a few discounts across the board. I'm in GA so I'm sure that's a factor as well.

I'am yet to come across one with great customer service.
Curently i'am with ALLSTATE
08 G37
09 GTI
2002 Beetle 1200$/6 months
(my other cars are insured trough the business)
If anyone knows of anything that might be cheaper let me know.

Wawanesa from my past expirence has some of the lowest rates around. I always had trouble beating their rates when I was quoting personal lines, (auto/home/etc.) But if you can find a brokerage, Mercury generally has really low rates. Some brokerages, like my previous job don't charge broker fees so try to find one issuing Mercury policies. If you want an actual quote, PM me, and I'll give you the info to my previous brokerage to give you a quote. They have other carriers such as Safeco, Travelers, Hartford, Drive by Progessive (different from Progressive Direct which is the web quoting) and a bunch of others.

I use Geico, for me they have the best rates, progressive quoted me 5200$ for 6 months, I pay almost half that for the year.
I have a 08 G37, and 06 SRX both in my name, and I'm 20, so I get screwed on insurance.

Although only available to current and past military personnel, I have USAA which is excellent. They even called ME beforehand during the recent fires here to remind me that if I had to evacuate they would pick up the hotel bill on my homeowners policy that I have with them in addition to my autos. Unfortunately, I had to take them up on it twice. They paid both bills promptly with no hassles. They also give me a nice auto discount because I have LoJack which virtually gives me the device for free.

USAA like most other carriers has a coverage portion called Additional Living Expense or Loss of Rent (for landlords). This is generally accessable without having to pay your deductible and is in place for evacuations or in the event your house was lost, it pays for you to take up residence else where while they repair the house.

Not to knock your policy, USAA is great, and its actually administered by The Hartford I believe. But check what your discount is vs. what a lojack costs, usually it's not fiscally beneficial to have a lo jack installed. Seeing claims, if my car were stolen, I pretty much wouldn't want them to find it, chances are it's going to be damaged, stripped or trashed. I'd want a new or undamaged car rather than them finding my stolen car.
