I think too dark looks cheesy sometimes. To each his own..

I just got my windows done at Sunshield in Sherman Oaks. They are on Van Nuys, right by the 101. $135 for all five windows and for an extra $100 they tinted the taillights too. Looks sweet, I'll have to post some pics. Over the years they have done a bunch of cars for me and friends, they have always done a great job.

For those that have the Formula One Pinnacle or Huper Optik ceramic tints, where did you go and how much did you pay?

I was thinking of going there on Thurs. maybe. How dark did you go, and did you tint the headlights or just the taillights.

Sorry it took me for ever to respond.

I had them do 35% on the driver's and passanger windows and 20% on the rear 3 windows. There was another G37 there when they were doing mine, that one had 35% all around it didn't look as good in my opinion.

And here is the picture of the rear, so you can see the tailligths. This is the lighter of the two tints they offered for the lights, with the reverse lights cut out. The darker tint was way too dark and would have made the car look way too much like a ricer. I did not have the headlights done.

+1 for Tintmaster City! I JUST got it done over the weekend, the owner was REAL cool... he even dropped me and my gf off at Topanga Mall (1 block away, really nice mall) for 2 and half hours so that I wouldn't have to wait there... real nice dude, ask for Robert!

I got 35% all around, it's a medium shade but dark enough for me... no problems at night and keeps heat out great! allow 48 hours for it to dry and it's all good! pretty much looks like the pictures above ^
