The dealer drills them before you even go pick it up. I think right when they get off the truck. And dont get pulled over? hahah its just a fix it ticket but you can also just pay a fine and move on. Most people just rock there plate in there front windshield.

You will not get pulled over in California just for not having front plates on your car. However if you get a parking ticket or get pulled over for something else chances are you will get an additional fix-it ticket for no front plate. (depends on the mood of the officer at the time). The ticket is for $25.00. You can either put the plates on and not have to pay the $25.00 or pay the $25.00 and not have to put the plates on.

You'll get away with it most of the time. I didn't have front plates on my Accord for years and got pulled over twice (once in Irvine, the other in LA). Never got a fix it ticket, they just used it as an excuse to check us out and make sure we're not drunk or anything.

You have a higher chance of getting a ticket with it inside on your windshield rather the no plate.
Why you ask?
Because what do you thinks gonna happen to that piece of metal in a car accident? It's going to be a flying piece of death metal right at someone's throat. I suggest not rocking it inside on the windshield. I read about this a while back and the you can get a ticket for it being a safety hazard.

you can get suction cups if you want it inside but it is very dangerous as i recently learned from a frined of mine .its a flying projectile inside your car. Again dealers are not required to drill the holes and if they do, you should drill a hold in their head then go find another G.
