Atlanta Dealers

I enjoy Gwinnett's service department but I recently came in to the sales department that was not a joy. The guy had no idea what he was talking about, knew nothing of any of the cars, didn't take me seriously to begin with, and when I told him I'd leave to shop around some more, he said he'd bring me a business card to only have his manager come out and hassle me like I was an idiot implying I had no idea what I was doing. I still didn't get that business card.
You can say that but some people don't think like that. There was a recent study that came out stating that car dealerships sell more car off of their service rather than price. If their service is good enough to make the customer feel good about everything, then the customers are often times willing to pay a little extra.
Doesn't really matter where you buy your car. You are just looking for the best deal on the new car. The more important question is who has the best service and service techs to work on our cars after the sale for maintenance and warranty work.
Where do you guys prefer to go and who do you prefer to work with?

So who is the best for service or warranty work? I went to Roswell Infiniti today and they charge you a "$60 diagnostic fee which is refundable if they determine that the problem is actually a manufacturing issue." That was an exact quote. Car is only 1 year old and should be under full warranty and I'm not sure that's normal or not for Infiniti or just this dealer, but I know Honda, Mazda, Porsche, and Volvo don't do that or tell you they do that on new cars still under warranty.
As far as buying a new car, I have heard a lot of good things about Infiniti of South Atlanta.

I'm moving back to Atlanta from Greenville, SC. In Greenville they didn't charge me any fees for any warranty work. I've only paid for the alignment after my Eibach drop. Which dealers don't charge fees in the ATL area?

Buying mine at Roswell was a really nice experience. Friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to negotiate. First service coming up soon and I'll be taking it there probably, I'll check back in with how things go after that.

I would say call Lorenzo Duckworth the internet manager at South Atlanta. He was nice to work with although we couldn't make the deal work I would consider the dealership on my next purchase.
If you are open to any dealership in ATL I would highly recommend you speak with Myshia Hill at Nalley Infiniti - Marietta. This is where I bought my 2011 M37s back on March. She was great and they made me the best deal of any of the ATL dealerships.I was very pleased with my car buying experience.
