Great Driving roads in Texas?

Hey guys,

Anyone know of any good driving roads in Texas? Preferably around Katy, Richmond, Rosenberg, and Houston. Sad to say that I've been bored with my G without excessively speeding or swerving through lanes like a champ.

But other roads work to as this could be the one-way stop for driving road in Texas from all the way to the tourist to the Hometown dweller

There are no great driving roads anywhere near Houston unfortunately. You need to go the the Hill Country for that so expect at least about a 3 hour drive. Either west of San Antonio or North of Austin.

Here's a writeup I did on the Three Twisted Sisters a couple of years ago. At NISMO Fiesta a couple of months ago we went on a cruise there again. It's well worth the long drive IMO.

Strictly G's - The Three Twisted Sisters of Texas

And stop driving like a douchebag in Houston, you make us all look bad.

MSR Houston and Grandsport Speedway. Get your fix there if you decide to stay in town.

I don't actually drive like that. I just used those two examples as a figure of speech to heighten the story. Sorry.

Understood. I was just messing with you. Mostly. I am guilty of a little bit of douchebag driving myself this past weekend.

But you must check out the Hill Country if you want awesome driving experiences. Most of the roads are in good condition as they aren't traveled much by lots of trucks. Great scenery. Elevation changes. Twists and turns. Nowhere near Houston (that I'm aware of) has any of that.
