[Hou] Z/G & Coffee
Winter is over and time to get the cars out and enjoy the weather.
Where: Uptown Park Blvd, Houston, TX 77056

Parking: I would like to request everyone try to park in the black rectangle as it always seemed the best fitting as not to upset any of the stores there.
Currently waiting to see if Urban speed will be happening in March, if so many Z/G owners like to cruise to that event after awhile.

We used to meet there regularly but McCorksuckers and Scmucks complained and tried to run us off every single time even though we patronized businesses there so we quit going. Is this approved by the property management nor is it another renegade operation?

They even sent security to harass us once before when we were far away from their business parked on the edge of the parking lot away from everyone. This was early in the morning before they were even open. No alcohol, no music playing, nobody revving engines or diving like idiots in the parking lot. They came to ask us to leave once when I went to a ZCOH meet there as well. I suppose they thought that "our element" would scare away the older Ferrari/Lambo/AMG/BMW crowd that frequents their establishment. Cars & Coffee has moved over to Marq*E now. They can burn to the ground for all I care. I may still come anyway. Betty should be back from her face lift and looking as young as ever.

They have tried before, but they cannot get me to leave.
Cars & coffee was moved to the MarqE but is now not happening again for awhile. Seems the MarqE is not even happy so they have indefinitely postponed it all.
Will post this on Strictly G's tomorrow, just try to follow some of the parking is all. Last time I told the McC we would not park on their corner to make him happy and he got a tantrum still.

That's why we stopped meeting there. Whether they have the right to try to evict us or not, we simply chose not to be involved in that type of controversy and show some class and just walk away from it. It's irritating for sure but we don't need them and it wasn't worth forcing the issue for our group. Houston is a huge city with many other places to meet where people don't mind our presence, and in some cases even invite us and appreciate us having our meets there.

I can understand that, I have not had the time to find another location in a central area which is easy to access for all cars.
Hoping for the best and will play it by ear.
