How many miles do you get on a full/half tank of gas?

I'm asking because I feel like mine is very poor. On average, I get about half of the miles that the "miles remaining" tells me I have. For example, if the computer says I have 100, I get 50. And no I don't have a lead foot; i'd say I drive about average.

My mods are C.A.I, H.F.C, and Tanaba exhaust. Is it known that these mods might lessen mpg? If so, are there any resets that I should have done after getting them done to remedy the situation?

Thanks!

On average, I get a little over 330 miles per tank (really per fill-up) and average 32 MPH and 19.6 MPG.

I drive mostly secondary roads and get about 320 miles per tank. On the highway, more like 450 to 500.

Be aware there are still about four gallons in your tank when the fuel nag lights up. About three gallons at E.

Miles per tank readings are extremely erroneous. Miles per gallon is the proper term and even that introduces some degree of error because not all pumps read accurate gallons pumped.

With that said, here's fill-ups going back through 8/2016. Avg ~20-23 mpg, ~75/25 highway/city driving.

Ha! Spreadsheet goes all the way to when I got the car (12/2011). I had one long trip out of state back in '13 to Denver Avg was about 27, but got as high as 30 on 1 or 2 fill ups. Most other trips out of state include lots of technical backroads where I'm not there for the mileage but to have fun. Overall, I'd say driven gingerly it's possible to get respectable mpg in the city (but not great). Same for the highway. Keep under 65 with gentle throttle transition to get the best mpg.

Telecoman will be by shortly to share his results with 87 octane

Here is a peek at mine (which also goes back to when I got the car).

I'm coming from the sedan but when I get a FULL tank, it says I have ~325-350 "estimated" miles while it also says I get 19.2 MPG.

After switching my ARK grip for my Motordyne, It went down from 19.5 to 19.2 .

Regardless, I think my gas MPG is not true but I'm too busy / lazy to actually calculate it. One time, I swear my car almost ran out of gas on me. It was below the line of E and displayed the "****" for "estimated miles". I seem to never learn as I always see those damn ****

@Entcee Forgot about that screen on the display. I always keep the center one on the outside temp. Too lazy to record that too. Plus there's usually people waiting in line to get at the pumps at costco.

It was on for about 20 miles as I was on my way home and didn't want to fill up as it was 3 am . So I went the next morning to the closest Costco gas which is about 15 miles away and I swear, my car was on its last hope . I was even scared while waiting for a pump that it would shut off n I would have to push it to my pump

I display the temp too, but switch it just to record the MPH lol

*** = more than 60 miles/100 klicks. I've been two needle widths past E and still had a gallon of gas in the tank.
