1/4 mile times!

If you are taking your car to the track, forget about boltons, tune and all that other stuff for now. First thing you should get are light small (17-18 inch) wheels and slicks.

Wow 118 mph trap is up there. If I had to guess I would say you're making somewhere about 450 whp with your setup?

Hi everyone,
About a month ago, I ran a 13.56 and I have a 10 G37x with only a stillen gen 3 CAI. It was about 50 degrees out. Great Lakes dragway in WI.
I was pretty happy.

Ended up taking it to the strip. Ran 13.3 @ 105 so not quite 12s. First time ever to the strip. My 60ft needs some work (2.0). That 13.3 was in d no brake boosting. Swapping somethings, should be able to get more like a 13.1 as is. Had half tank of gas. I Orderd 3 inch intakes and 70mm Tb installed and try it again. Have on all season tires also. I have logged my entire process before the change. 12s should be doable. Running 4.5 0-60, 11.2 0-100. Goal is to get it down to 10.xx 0-100.
I’ve dropped a Good bit of weight and should gain some good power from the swap and re tune. Plus I’m due for a retune.

Yes. At the time it was, stillen g3 long tube intake/ ported 63mm throttle bodies/z1 plenum/z1 intake manifold, stillen ceramic headers, fast intentions 2.5 inch test pipes and exhaust. Full suspension mods also, 17x8 rpf1. Only a couple ways to loose more weight, rear driveshaft and swap front seats. All that and Best I could get first time at track is 13.3, leaving it in drive with no brake boost seems to give best results.
Now I have swapped the stillen g3 intakes(2.5 inch) for admin intakes (3 inch) and swapped 63mm throttle bodies for 70mm throttle bodies. Also adding injectors and pump for e85 later. Uprev tuned.
Nitrous is still down the road(bought everything a year ago but haven’t done anything with it), even my new intakes came with bungs for it to thread to. Should be somewhat easy install.
2 different runs December
November (slightly raining)

I’ll be honest. I have no idea about that, but yes I know the bigger intake and Tb makes some good power. I’m guessing 5-8 more on the Tb everywhere in rpm. Also guessing for 10-15 from the intake. Complete guess. Some myg37 members have gained +20whp on their full bolt on already tuned with same software car just switching intakes from 2.5 to 3 inch and the Tb either stock Tb or 63mm Tb to the eps 70mm setup. I’ll be glad to post my results of the new setup, as that will be my way of learning. I don’t know enough about engines to answer your original question definitively. Thanks. If the cams weren’t so much of a bitch to replace I would have. I’ll redyno after the tune is complete.
