$300 for the diff (and trips to 4 other junkyards to look at Open Diffs that they were trying to sell as Locking Diffs)
$80 for the Whiteline Bushings
$200 for the swap
$200 for the bushing change
$40 for the diff fluid change

Yeah, it was an expensive project, but now I can apply power out of corners and, not sit spinning one wheel if I floor it from a dead stop! Totally worth it!

The bushings are a necessary evil. The donor car must have had the bushing rupture a bit, as there was weird fluid on part of the diff housing. I didn't want to have to deal with installing solid bushings later, so took the hit on that bit of work before the diff was back in the car.

My next mod is the exhaust. I was thinking of the Top Speed with the big resonator near the mufflers and getting the matching Y Pipe.

The rod is to take pressure of the hood shocks while working on the car, (hood shocks are good)!
I got the shift **** locally at a shop just to make sure it will match the trim on the car, It does look really similar to the S2000 **** or the Type R but overall its just a classic aluminum round ball shift ****. They are available all over the place (amazon-ebay) just make sure you order the correct thread size for it.
