I do, they're much better looking when not packed w/ dirt, if mine were still silver, even more so.

I wash my mufflers. They gather crumbs and beard hairs.

The mufflers on my Fast Intentions exhaust are freaking beautiful. Of course I wash them.

Why wheels and mufflers before car? Since that's where the bulk of the dirt and debris is, wouldn't you be better off keeping that stuff off your brush and out of your bucket until last?

Hmm. maybe i'm just weird. I've kind of given up on keeping my car super clean though since I park it outside. S2K gets the garage.

Different brushes. Clean the buckets between wheels/mufflers and the car.

I figured some of you guys would be way more OCD about washing your cars than me

I am a bit OCD. I have a body mitt, wheel brush and cloth and I wash the body top, front, rear sides and then wheels/tires/ exhaust tips last

Exactly. In the sun you wash one section at a time and rinse, keeping the car wet until you're ready to dry. In the shade, it really doesn't matter much. In sequence:
  1. Roof and Windows
  2. Hood & trunk
  3. Doors and front fenders, one side at a time
  4. Lower side sills and front end
  5. Rear fenders and lower rear bumper
  6. Mufflers, tips and wheels

I don't think that's OCD. Just makes sense, is all.

I WFH and my G37 is always garaged. When I go to the gym or the occasional trip into the office, it's always covered when parked. I wash the car once a week and also wash my mufflers and tips. Invidia actually specifies that in order to preserve the Titanium burnt coloring, don't let grease, water stains, or dirt accumulate on them. It also suggests using only neutral detergents or water to gently clean them. After I dry the car, I use a micro-fiber towel sprayed with a water-based, multi-purpose cleaner from Trader Joe's because it's mild and works great for windows, mirrors, and stainless steel. My mufflers look nearly as good as the day I installed them. Call me ****, but I like to take care of my stuff. Plus, the essential oils infused...nevermind.

Nice update^^^to clean it up even more I'd just leave the Inifniti logo back there and get rid of those pesky letters

Thanks! Removing the letters is definitely on the table, I hate all of the lettering. When I was at the body shop they mentioned they could black vinyl all of the chrome window sill's as well black the entire grill minus the logo. Wish they mentioned that when I brought it in to get the spoiler mounted to make it one and done. But its all good, little at a time.

^^^agreed looks great...don't understand all the chrome infiniti uses. Not for me personally and big fan of either blacking it out or matching the paint
