A day late, but I washed my car...at a track event. The first three sessions were wet with the second session in a bit of a down pour. I was amused to find tree detritus on my rear bumper that had flushed out of the top channels.
Michelin PSS worked amazingly well on the wet track.

Finished up around 11:30 pm so I barely made today's cutoff. Installed the rear Tein basis coilovers. Drove around the neighborhood and all is quiet so far. Settled in at 27-1/4" right now. Was sitting at 28" stock and right after install. Hopefully swapping out the fronts tomorrow morning.
I have a 3" step up into my garage and as I eased in I could definitely tell the rear was stiffer. Anxious for the complete setup. One question: what's the best way to tighten the nut on the piston rod holding the top plate on?

I am also sure your height will change when you get the rear done. I'm at 26.5" all around

Finished install. It's HARD on jack stands without air tools! Stripped the big nut on front passenger strut lower mount. Couldn't break it loose for the life of me. Went to nearby Kauffman, they removed and replaced for free. Rears at 27-1/8 currently. Fronts at 26-3/4.
Kauffman any good for alignment? They want $129 for vehicles with lowered/aftermarket suspension. I've used local shops with my Maxima over the years and it came out worse than it went in!

On Friday, I had an appointment at Soho Motorsports to get my Whitline Diff Bushings installed. Here's some pics they took of the car while working on it.
Also had a more local shop flush/replace all the fluids in the car (which had never been done, and the car has 82k on it now) and what a difference. The car is so smooth compared to before. For anyone with high mileage, I seriously recommend forking out the $$ and getting this done.

Performance-wise, I like to drive in Manual Mode when I feel like pushing the car, and when I shifted sometimes, the car would jerk harshly and felt loose. The Whiteline bushings helped with the shifting and the noise, as well as flushing the transmission/VLSD and replacing the fluids. The noise seems to have been minimized, and as I said, the best word to describe the car now is "smooth."

Just asking because I'm doing this soon but have had prices ranging from $300 to $800 for labor alone.

Finished up my Eibach Pro-Kit install. I've done about five drops on Hondas and Acuras myself, as well as suspension lifts on two 4Runners. I consider myself to be pretty handy, mechanically speaking. This job kicked my ***. Neither my Harbor Freight spring compressor tool nor the rental from AutoZone could get me enough bite on the Eibachs to compress them far enough for re-assembly. I conceded and took it to a local shop. $10/each assembly + $5 tip. This was just one of many roadblocks today - including broken tools, bumps and bruises (ever hit your head on an A-arm?), and just time-consuming, sweat equity in the AZ heat. Jimminy... /rant.

I did this on jackstands, took about 3-4 hours with a beer/lunch break. After doing it myself, I would probably opt to pay for a reputable shop to do it. It wasn't terrible but I'd pass on a round 2. I'd expect to pay around $400 due to most shops charging $100/hr for labor
