Question on powder coat color for rims

I just bought some 19" Coupe rims and am looking to get them powder coated ASAP. I know this has been a question frequently asked in the past but I have a picture example of exactly what I'm looking for - hopefully the OP or someone else will have some insight.

I have a 2011 Graphite Shadow G37 and am looking to get this EXACT look in regards to the wheels. Any ideas on what color this is for the powder coating? It's bigmike35nj's car but not sure how active he still is on the forum.

There's a Nissan Paint code for the gunmetal shade on their Titan Pickup, it's real close to GTR gunmetal used on their wheels, nice shade. Scroll down this thread a bit, it's Nissan K11

My approach was to ask the powdercoater which brand powder he uses, then I reached out to the powder manufacturer directly and sent them a few photos of the color I wanted (GTR wheels). They made a recommendation that I would never have picked (based on the name), but it came out pretty spot-on.

One thing I'd recommend, opt for a semi-gloss or maybe even matte finish. Makes the wheels look much better. My powdercoater used a gloss clear on mine, looks fine but prefer a duller look (like most OEM finishes)

Agreed on the semi-gloss. I've heard it called "satin" finish sometimes as well. It's not as high maintenance as gloss, is more classy, and imo just looks more unique.

Thank you all for the suggestions!

Checking out that thread now blnewt & will definitely be contacting you in the near future about my tires for these wheels

I figured gunmetal would be too vague but STownSaint, that's a good call on reaching out to the manu. for some examples. Definitely have some pics of your car saved on my search for my ideal graphite shadow & wheel color combo.

Also really dig PG-v36_6MT's look here (rim color especially) and was in the market for some Stance SC9s but the deal I found on the OEM coupe wheels (vert wheels with some minor rash w/ 2 70% tires for $400!!) was too good to be true. Had to jump on it.
