New Tires For 2013 M37X
I'm looking at new tires to replace the Michelins (OEMs). My M37X has 43K -leased until to 9/16. I have ordered Hankook Ventus Noble 2s - 245/50/R18s. They are Ultra High Performance All Season tires that seem highly rated overall at Tire Rack and other sites. They are $125 per tire cheaper than the MXM4s. Any opinions out there?

I hate my MXM4s, they jump around with every little grove in the road plus noisey. I'm not quite there yet on wear to replace them yet. Wish they made the Pilot Super Sport in our size. Would like to hear your impresions of the Hankooks.

I went with Toyo Versado Noir's .... so far so good. They are quieter than the MXM4's and don't jump around as much.

The Toyo's? Do yours seem to be prone to flat spots when sitting overnight? Mine do, they smooth out after a few miles. We just put Michelin PSS on the G, haven't really pressed them yet as I'm trying to work through a vibration issue (tires, rims, road force balance, allignment all check out.)

Please let us know what you think. Specifically do you feel anything "different" about the feedback from the road to what you feel in your body through the car. Put the PSS's on our coupe and felt the imperfections in the road much more. Thought there was something wrong with the balance, etc but having it checked and doubled checked showed no issues.

The ride comfort is firm and smooth. I can't feel every imperfection in the road, but the tires are more communicative and I definitely feel small road imperfections. I have only been able to take a few higher speed turns and on/off ramps and so far I am very impressed; these tires have grip!
Last year, Bridgestone S001 tires were installed, and these are already a noticeable improvement in grip, while ride comfort and road noise are roughly the same or slightly better. One thing I noticed was that the PS4S is really tame on the highway and is without much tire noise at all.
The "velvet" sidewall details are actually really cool. I would say these tires also run wide since I have a 225/40R19 on a 8.5" wheel and a 255/35R19 on a 9.5" wheel and it appears to be a perfect fit.
I will follow-up with more thoughts after I have more miles ticked and also provide a few pictures.
