Idk, the Q50 gets a 16 speaker system. My only issue with the bose is that it was never "loud enough". Also if you used Bluetooth, it sounded very muffled but I take it thats almost every Bluetooth audio in cars.

im not a cork-sniffing audiophile, but it isnt very good. it wouldnt even be a problem if you could replace the head unit without it being a major surgery.
will wait for Android Auto ...

not loud enough, bass and mids are muddy, upper frequencies are shrill as you turn up the treble and not crisp.

Well yes Bose is not as good as the Mark Levinson in the Lexus' however it is not bad, I like it in my g37.
If they bring their 7speed DCT in Q30 with some improvements to an AWD red Sport I can seriously think about it next year.

Bose doesn't believe in mid-range, that's been their whole premise since the early 901 days, that's why it ships with a crude equalizer. They also don't quote the specs of their accustomass module, aka their "thumper". Bose has always done a great job of marketing and when people see that logo they think they are getting something special when they are only getting something over priced. Yes, I bought into the hype years ago and have their accoustimass system. It can get loud and that's what lures people in, "how can something so small be so loud, it must be good". When people hear that in our spare room and think its great I bring them out to hear the B&W's ... they then say, oh yeah I see what you mean.
since then, its just all marketing hype, not unlike Beats headphones. mediocre product, marketed and priced to make dummies think its "high end".
as the saying goes, "Bose: no highs, no lows". LOL
the Rockford Fosgate system in my wife's $24k little Mitsubishi SUV is SOOO much better then the Infiniti Bose system.

My 2015 Q60 coupe Bose sounds way better than my previous 2014 Q50 Sedan Bose.
The Q60 sound isn't that bad. The mids sounds pretty good to me.
If the 2017 Coupe has the same setup as the Q50, I'd be disappointed.
Here's an audio recording off of my dash cam.

if you think proof of sound quality is a dash cam audio recording, then you will probably be pleased with your Bose system.

901's were ok, if you had the space for them and positioned them right (buddy had some back in the day).
