Usb power rating

Anyone know the power rating of the sub port in the drivers arm rest on the g37s 2011? I'm considering powering a a number of devices but I don't know what I can reliably draw from the single port. Alternatively, what is the draw rating out of the cigarette shaped power adaptor next to the sub port?

I tell ya, if I'm running a lot of apps, Nav, iTunes, connected to my Max360 Escort, it doesn't really "charge" as much as it does maintain. I can't see running too many devices off of that one port.

yeah, 0.5A is standard for USB 2.0.

edit: nevermind, i think the OP and blazeplacid were referring to the 12v outlet, not the USB port ...

Get one of those usb ports that you can install to the left side switch gear. They sell 'em as dual usb ports too. Look up "nissan usb port" on ebay.

Something like this Auto Car Dashboard Dual Port USB Charger 5V 1A 2 1 iPhone Samsung HTC for Nissan | eBay
