Projector shroud removal

in light of not being able to capitalize on Alen's headlight deal, I've decided to mod my own heads with parts I'd purchased months back. I've opened the heads, easy enough, but am a bit stuck with the shrouds. I can't seem to figure out how they're to be removed. I see two screws that require a long philips head, but one is completely inaccessible from the rear of the headlight. I figure that there must be another way. Any ideas/help?

This is going to looks amazing when it's all done! I can't wait to see the final result! Nothing but props for going at this mod yourself!

thanks kenny! I'm letting the paint dry overnight and then putting things back together! I'd been putting this mod off for months and after not being able to swap with Alen, I'd decided that it was time to do it myself.

Nice looking combo you're putting together. If possible try to mount you lights prior to reinstalling the covers so you can fine tune your cutoff w/ those spacers, it will be time well spent. It's going to look killer, I can already tell

I couldn't get the L-shaped phillips to work, it was just too tight after 8 years on my 07. I drilled a small hole in the back of the headlight plastic, and filled it tightly with all-weather sealant after.

thanks for the notice Brad!

I wish I'd have thought of that before closing them up.

I'll check and see how bad it is tomorrow. The only problem I have now is that the body shop that repaired my bumper and replaced my passenger headlight two years back used the wrong screws. I had a heck of a time putting the bumper back on. They'd also failed to include two of the 4 screws that mount the headlights to the body.
