Did you install these? Curious what color you purchased and if you have any pictures?
I'm going to try these, but confused about 5000k or 6000k. I have the DD 5000k HID fog lights, and I ordered the 5000k DD headlight and city light bulbs. I'd like the color to match and from the OP's post, it sounds like 6000k is the answer.
Also wondering if for the sedan, do I need the standard or "CK" base?

You need standard socket. Non ck
I have 5000K tritons and you can clearly see in some of the pictures that it looks yellowish white compared my Osram cool blue intense headlight bulbs which are 5000K

Boom thank you.

FTR I got the 5000K because I don't plan to change the OEM headlight bulbs. Haven't gotten to install yet, hoping the match is OK...

Also do the amber VLED turn signals stay "on" like the switchbacks with the headlights on? If not I may go that route. The switchbacks seem really bright compared to the headlights, almost overpowering.

I already mentioned this to you when you first bought them. The 5000K have a very noticeable yellow tinge. If you have OEM bulbs, it should be fairly close. If you have an aftermarket like osram, morimoto... It won't match.
They have a wire to dim when the low beams are on.

If you want turn signal off except when blinking to signal a turn, then you just need 7440 bulbs, which I believe work because they only have one filament. Buying Tritons to disable the switchback feature seems like a waste of effort/$$$ IMO.

Maybe pictures are making the white led turn signal brighter than reality. I want to try it, but $180 is not cheap for an experiment.

Here's a vid that can somewhat gauge how much brighter Triton is relative to stock bulb, the white light certainly competes more with headlight in terms of brightness. That said I don't think the headlights in the vid are OEM, seem much bluer.
This was a concern of mine as well, chose to bite the bullet when VLED had a 10% off sale,

Looks great Furlow! Hoping 5K works well with OEM headlights...
Now that you've installed them, any tips on the process? Did you go thru wheel well or engine bay? Remember which of the rubber washers you used? How'd you mount the resistor? Anything else to look out for/make the install smoother?
Not expecting answers for all above, just throwing 'em out there.
Thanks!

Mainly I'd say don't try to rush it, and be patient when putting the switchbacks in, they take a while. He really had to muscle them in.
