Bent rim

Hey everyone, i happened to stumble upon an amazing deal for some rims i want for my car but the only set back is that one of the rims are bent. They are TSW Staggered 18" and i'm getting the tires to go with them too all for $180. Sounds awesome to me but i don't know whether it is worth it to have the bent rim repaired or to just buy another one of the same rims. What should i do?

Buy the set and if the bent wheel is bad buy a new wheel like Venom said.

Also before posting questions try posting an introduction in the newbie section of the forum so everyone can greet you and know who you are and stuff. It'll make people like Venom possibly be a little nicer to you in long run lol

Venom is mean to everyone ... I'm scared of him

Op, I think you'd be happier with a different set and in 19s- but that's just my personal opinion

Don't mind the crude comments, he's actually a nice guy and sold me a beautiful set of wheels

If you can, offer the seller to have the wheel checked out because you might be able to fix it. I'd rather get hit with $50-100 to check the balance than end up with $1,500 wheels and not being able to drive in a straight line.

As long as the post in question is coherent, grammatically adequate (sorry, been on the forums too long, standards have diminished) and contains a meaningful title, I don't see a need for an intro post.

Buying used wheels is a gamble. Actual condition is uncertain until it's actually put on a balancer to determine if the wheel is true. If you like the design, research what it would cost to have it repaired or replaced. Buying price should reflect this.

I only suggest writing an introduction post for new members bc it's a good way for the community to have an idea of who they are.

Always wondered why you always tell new members to post in the newbie section first.
