I have the Injen SRIs that use the OEM plastic runners, been very happy w/ the overall performance from these. Didn't seem to lose much at the low end and opens up nicely at 3500+. I have little doubt there's much difference in gain from the R2Cs, and if heat soak was added to the mix they may do even better.

OP buy either one, and experience it for yourself. They both have claimed HP gains, they both have their advantages and disadvantages. There are many who claim one is better then the other even in a daily driving street scenario. This is not factual and primarily butt dynos...If however, your tracking the car the CAI may have an advantage due to heat soak created in that situation. If your not tracking the car then both have supporters on either side...so good luck!

I personally am going with the AAM S/R-Line intake. Simply because the vendor discounted pricing drops it well below the Stillen Gen 3 and because I plan to get a tune and remove the baffle so it essentially has the largest piping of all the options, meaning it potentially could offer the most power, we'll see. I WILL ABSOLUTELY do a before and after dyno on the same day, same dyno, same mods before a tune for the most accurate readings.

Same here except I probably won't get tunes until mid summer. I will have these installed by Saturday. What caught me was the ability to make it r line. Also they will give you 15% off using the 370z forum discount

This! I got a quote from "Kyle(Houston)" on My370z and it was almost $60 less than I was quoted here on the intake vendors.. Just a heads up vendors , there's room for improvement.

You might see if one is willing to match or beat that quote. There have been some mods I have purchased and a couple of forum vendors matched or beat other quoted prices... worth a try

Agreed, I would much rather have trader score here than over there.
I just purchased aam intake for the g37. You do have to cut tho. I'll let you know how it is when I install it this weekend. I don't think anyone on here has it yet

I really like them so far. Fitment wasn't perfect because I have a 08 g35x sedan. I had r2c ships me their kit which includes a y shaped plastic fitting and a 90 degree fitting. The kit was made for a g37 so the breather hose or whatever it's called is different in my car. The pipes are huge so u definitely have to cut the holes. I brought a cheap $14 dollar multi took from harbor freight and it had no problems making the cuts. I planned to get tuned before the summer is over. I had decided headers and berks hfc's installed the week before. Sound wise I can't hear it over the exhaust. Performance wise it's hard to tell because everything. Was installed in a short time. I just feel it pulls super hard to redline.

Thanks I figured. The 08 g35 would be the same since it also has the hr. But guess no . I'm probably getting these too
You can also fit the AEM intake on the G with minimal modifications.
Don't forget the Nismo intake as well. Made for the 370 but it fits the G. Personally I'd do either the Nismo (first choice) or the RC2 and look at making sure it's sealing and modifying if necessary.
I recently (less than 2 weeks) got the K&N Dual Intake and I love it so far. I definitely gained some HP (unsure of the #) but it's noticeably MUCH faster than stock.
Also around 2500-3000K RPM sounds aggressive. I have stock exhaust.

I had the same k&n intakes but didn't like them as much as I expected very good sound great power was there. But suffer from heat stroke and can feel power lost in low rpm and lower gears I would feel the power high 3rd gear thru 4th. So I ordered aam intakes
