I just received your v2 cupholder. I like the fit and finish, I can tell you had more time for fitment on this version. It fits my 20oz fat water bottle and insulated cups well, I will do some tests with various fast food cups and what-not. Right now I have both in my car, so I can see how they which is more appropriate for what.

Well done!

Rick

Well, I finally had a bit of time to play.

The v2 cupholder for the g37 manuals out there is a great purchase. I have a 2009 sedan sport FYI. As you know, the factory compartment/not-a-cupholder can do some bottles like a 20oz water bottle:

Although for capped bottles I just stick it in the side pocket. But the v2 cupholder basically handles anything that is supposed to be can-sized ish, so I have no issues with 20 oz soda bottles:

Or 16.9 bottles like water:

But best of all the normal drive-through drinks/non-capped items (that are NOT the 64-oz mega-gulp sized) fit great:

If you don't need it you can remove it and chuck in into a bin, or just leave it in place. Bottles and cups in it are stable and some may tip slightly, they don't move enough that there is any issue with them falling out.

Strongly recommend it for any 6MT.

Thanks,

Rick

Just bought a 2011 g37s coupe. My coffee mug has spilled on me twice due to falling over from "sharp" turns. Need one of these ASAP!
