I have a ProClip phone mount that was in my 2010 G37X Sedan (Please confirm fitment for other models). This will come with the mounting base that clips into the dash trim, a ProClip adjustable cradle for small to medium phones (I used it with an IPhone 7 with a medium thickness case), and a magnetic mount cradle w/ adjustable head & Extra mag plate for the phone (I personally ended up liking this setup more than the original ProClip holder). The mag holder is currently mounted to the ProClip base using mounting tape but could be removed if you prefer to use the original ProClip holder.

Does this have the original mounting hardware to attach to the trim pieces aside the radio

Yes, everything you need is included. By design, there is no actual "hardware" that attaches the mounting base to the trim on the passenger side of the stereo. It uses clips that slip in behind the trim and a small strip of 2 way tape to prevent it from sliding up or down - the tape is pretty much unnecessary, it stays put on its own. I know it's designed for the passenger side but would it also work on the driver's side?

I don't think it would. The L shaped mounting base that clips in is angled in a way that it would likely not line up if you were to flip it over to attach on the driver side.
