Rewrapped Steering Wheel

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $240
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan, Other Model G's
Location (State/Prov): IL
Item Condition: Used

I am selling a rewrapped steering wheel with black leather and stitching that matches the sport interior perfectly. Yes, this is the kit you can buy on Amazon for $60, but that is where the similarities end. It takes a fair amount of effort to make this kit look nice and the stitching they supply comes nowhere near matching the stock sport stitching.

The steering wheel has a nice and slightly thicker feel.

This is a nice route to go if you would like to freshen up your worn steering wheel without spending $500-$1000 or taking on a time consuming project.

I am asking $300 for the steering wheel prior to shipment. If you send me your stock steering wheel after installing this replacement (only the wheel, no electronics), I will issue a $60 refund, reducing the total cost of this wheel to $240 shipped.

I can offer a $30 discount for pick up in Frankfort, IL with cash.

Feel free to ask any questions. The price includes insured CONUS shipping through FedEx.

Would you say this is thicker than the stock wheel? Is it real leather?

It is slightly thicker than the OEM steering wheel, my best guess is by about an 1/8" - 1/4". It has a nice feel to it. The leather was sold to me described as natural genuine leather. It is a nice smoot finish, opposed to the grainy finish on the OEM steering wheel that looks cheap and dated.

I'd jump on this in a heart beat but my mechanic said it's to much work taking off the steering wheel and airbag and putting everything back into this one and would cost me to much money :- ( I'm not a
really a diy kinda guy otherwise I woulda jumped on this wheel when you first posted it up!

It's surprisingly easy to remove the steering wheel and airbag. There is a good how to on the forum for anyone interested. It takes about 10 minutes.

Thanks for looking!

It's definitely a nice wheel, especially when you factor in the cost. I like the feel of a leather steering wheel, so although they look really great, CF was never in the cards for me. Let me know if your interested, I don't expect this to be around much longer!

Kenny I just did mine a week or so ago. It's not only simple, it's fun too...really. That DIY posted above is spot on. It's the one I used and I don't consider myself a DIY person either.

You'll learn about some inner workings of your G and save a few bucks. I find it worthwhile.
