do stock studs poke out from the spacer?

With the 20mm spacers, yes there is a little poke. This does not cause an issue. The hub of any wheel has a matching bolt pattern with openings between each bolt hole (where the OEM studs will fit into) to decrease weight of the wheel. Every wheels is manufactured this way.

Spacers bolt into existing studs and the wheels bolt onto the spacer studs.
