[SOLD] Fresh Pumpkin / Diff • VLSD • 4.08 gears

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $1200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan, Other Model G's
Location (State/Prov): CT
Item Condition: Used

[SOLD] Complete. Just swap this for yours. Shipping is included.

This unit was just finished and installed this Summer. It has less than 1000 miles on it. ALL new gears, bearings, flange and seals, all installed professionally by RDZ Motorsports in Danbury CT. The housing was from a low-mileage 6MT Infiniti.

No whining whatsoever, and has already had one gear fluid change.

I absolutely loved how responsive this felt on the street. Do a search on this forum and on the 370Z forum to hear the accolades.

It has the four-bolt flange which will bolt right up to any 6MT transmission. If you have a 5AT automatic (like I was) I can supply the rear half of the split driveshaft to make it fit immediately. (This combination took some research and experimentation to figure out, but it's solid.) It will NOT work well with the three bolt rubber bushing diff.

It will probably work with the 7AT as well, but that's a BIG jump from OEM 3.35:1 ratio to 4:08. (5AT OEM is 3.69:1, and the 6MT is 3.55:1)

I have converted my car back to OEM stock to sell, and this is the start of a run of hi-perf parts to sell.

Price: [SOLD] $1200 includes shipping to your door (commercial delivery address). No PayPal fees charged.

Extra section of driveshaft for automatic: Add $100 including shipping.

I already have a strong box, and FedEx Ground stands ready.

Want to pick it up from 06851? Save $100.

Thanks for looking.

Jim

A limerick as a BTTT:

A painter, who lived in Great Britain,
Interrupted two girls with their knittin'
He said, with a sigh,
"That park bench--well I
Just painted it, right where you're sittin.'"

One of the most creative and entertaining bumps I've seen to date on this forum. Because of this and your general contribution to the community I will keep an eye on your threads and give them a bump myself every now and then. And if you're taking requests for bump post, breasts are always nice. The limerick was good, but dirty ones are better. Or how about haiku regarding your car and its exploits?

Coop had a fast car,
Now he puts the parts for sale,
Refrigerator.

I was never good at poetry.

^^^ LOL GFN! My stomach hurts. Thanks.

Nahh BB, I'm keeping it squeaky clean.

A flea and a fly in a flue,
Were imprisoned, so what could they do?
Said the fly, "Let us flee!"
"Let us fly," said the flea,
And they flew through a flaw in the flue.

Jax,

I found it to be very satisfying, especially in around town driving: where I did 90% of my tooling around. Do a search of '4.08' in the drivetrain forum for many comments.

Compulsory limerick:

I bought a new Hoover today,
Plugged it in in the usual way,
Switched it on - what a din!
It sucked everything in,
Now I'm homeless with no place to stay.

Open box, insert diff, close and ship.

Interested parties but no cash. Consider!

Nice Jim,

sent you a pm regarding the diff. If it's still available in the new year, I'll holler.

Doug

There once was a man in nantucket... can't seem to remember the rest.

Thanks guys!

This one is SOLD to another G37 forum member (with the driveshaft for conversion). As it should be.

At 16 I sighed as I hoped
For a bike like a Harley. I groped
In my pocket for cash
And bought something less flash;
Then I sat on my moped and moped.
