I'm going to say this once more before beatdowns commence: if you post BS in someone's FS thread there will be consequences. If you want to ask a legitimate question about what's being sold, post. If you want to ask for photos, post. If you want to ask for clarification about something you don't understand, post. If you want to make an offer in a thread where someone says OBO, post (or PM). If you want to bump a friend or good seller's thread, post (sparingly). If there is something fundamentally wrong with the FS thread that needs to be brought to the seller's attention, PM the seller. If you know or you have good reason to suspect that the FS thread is fraudulent, click the "Report Post" button and inform the staff about it right away.
If you just want to say to the world that the item is a POS, keep it to yourself. Don't post. If you think the price being asked is too high for the item, don't post unless you are politely asking if the seller will accept a counter offer. If you are a jackass with noting useful to add, don't post. If you have something to sell and think that someone else's thread is a good place to promote your own item, don't post. These are things that will cause me consternation, and thereby cause YOU even more consternation.
In case I missed anything, I'll sum it up by saying don't post anything in someone's FS thread that you wouldn't appreciate being posted in your FS thread or that you think might possibly **** off the seller. Because they are likely to PM a staff member about it and then we'll have to come in to clean it up and might be pissed off at you as well for having to deal with your BS. You don't want that.
Thank you.
