WTT Brand New Stillen CBE for Invidia or other quiet exhaust

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $1000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Sedan
Location (State/Prov): WA
Item Condition: Brand New

Trade me your Invidia or other quiet exhausts for my brand new Stillen CBE. I've had it on for one day and it's just too loud for me. If you live in the Pacific NW that's a bonus.

Wow really? Stillen is about as quiet as it gets. I owned one for a few weeks and sold it because it was too quiet. I'm also kind of conservative when it comes to exhaust because I don't like really loud ones. GLWT

Dude, this exhaust overpowers my radio at 60% volume easily from a stop or going up hill at low rpms. Maybe you have a stick shift, in which case it's probably awesome, but for 7AT it is crap. I wish they would warn 7AT owners about that.

When I called Stillen they were well aware of the low rpm drone under load and told me I needed to learn how to shift my automatic out of that range. Really? I figure that's like Steve Jobs telling iPhone 4 users that they're "holding it wrong".

I know how to shift out of range, but if I have it in sport mode and even then it spends 75% of the time droning that's just not going to work. I refuse to be forced to manually shift my automatic G so that I can avoid exhaust drone.

If I wanted to be forced to shift all the time I would have gotten a 6MT. Honestly this is my first automatic car and I've kind of gotten accustom to just shifting when I want to, instead of being forced to shift all the time.

I have a full stock setup, so I'm looking for either something like an Invidia Gemini or another aftermarket exhaust that's known to be quiet.

Yeah I have 6MT. It sounded good but I need more tone. Their customer service wasn't always the best and it appears you're experiencing that
