if you run the headers with hfc then it should be worth it.

lol, do a dyno before and after. i got 8 hp for $1300. dont act like you know its worth it. put that money in a driveshaft/upgrade rear end/bigger injectors/ light weight wheels would get you hp. just sayin

Idk where you got your headers but 1300 is just to much just for headers. Oh yeah rear end, lighter wheels and light weight drive shaft is good but that's just your bottom end performance what about top end. Plus bigger injectors are useless not unless your using forced induction and a flash ecm to fit its standard. That's why I'm looking for used headers for a start then I'll match port the head for better flow.

He prolly had 1300 in headers and install. Install calls for 4+ hours per side so over 8 total hours your looking at 800 and change for the install unless you can do it yourself...

That explains it! Forgot that the shop charges a lot but I'll be installing them myself.

changing my set up around and dont want my car to sound too aggresive when i do. I had test pipes + stillen cat back exhaust and the car picked up really nice but it was too raspy for me so i swap back to stock cats. I think i would've liked it if i had mated them to the motordyne resonated XYZ pipe. So now im going to run RHFC or double resonated test pipes, tanabes and i havent decided on y pipe yet. Im trying to take them off tomorrow or if not next sunday and ill send you pics then if another member who is interested hasnt purchased them yet.

i worked at a shop so i got a discount of $500 to install. (book calls for 5 hours, i helped and it took over 6 hours, and wasnt done) it was 525 parts, 500 install, then the unexepected hit. BOTH o2 sensors got dethreaded when we brought them out. and yea we did all the tricks to get them out safe but didnt work. IF you get the OEM sensors they cost 350 i found aftermarket for 200. i only bought 1 the other one they custom drilled a hole in the HFC before the comb and spot welded it and then plugged the header bung hole. btw if you dont have a lift to install these then have fun they said it was the 2nd hardest header install theyve done, 1st being the new 5.0 mustang becuase that required dropping the kmember.

you have a lot of ambition just like i did but remember i told you so

ALSO bigger injectors arent useless if youre NA in rare cases like possibly going as far as youre going with porting...and lighweight components will result in gains at the top end also. just by your responses i can tell you need to do a lot more research before you start preaching. you would be better off spending your money porting your head than headers...but then you need to step back and look at your car and say its just a g37 lol
