Fast Intentions HFCs

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $375
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan
Location (State/Prov): OH
Item Condition: Used

A used set of FI HFCs. I purchased used and decided not to use them as I had a change of plans...

No defects whatsoever. Prior to realizing that FI welds there pipes from the inside (Quality way of doing it) I noticed there were only a few tack welds on the back side of the mounting plates. I had a shop complete the welds all the way around because I am ****. The only thing this does is make them absolutely bulletproof and unable to crack. Again though, there was nothing wrong with them prior to the new welds.

$375 shipped

...also includes a set of cat to Y pipe gaskets.

UPDATE - Price drop $350

They are not suppose to due to the 300 cell (all FI are 300 cell) but a very few people did so that's when he started the J style. To be 100% you can use Spark plug non-foulers/defoulers. They are $10 at your local auto part store. It serves the same purpose as the J bend, just threads in and spaces the 02 sensor out a bit.

I'm having a difficult time to find a long shaft fouler so the o2 can fit inside. How does the steel wool method work?

Lol, I don't think a long shaft exists. All you do is buy two sets of non-foulers and thread one into the other and you're all set!

My sensors won't even fit into the first fouler. The sensor itself is already bottoming out before the two threads (the male end from the sensor and the female end from the fouler) meet.

You have to drill out the fouler that the sensor goes into to 5/8".

...Why do I have a feeling I'm helping you with HFCs you already have rather then selling you mine? lol

LMAO. That's f'd up.

If the fouler is drilled out, wouldn't the wall of the fouler be kindda thin?

No. Your not drilling it out and making it thin. You are just opening the hole a little more for the sensor tip of the 02 to fit into and seat/thread all the way in. Again, this is not necessary as 99% people have no CEL, but a few did so this is precautionary while your at it. The foulers cost like $10 and takes 2 min to drill open.
