why is there a gap where it meets the fender?

 

That's where it's damaged I'm honestly not sure if it's repairable but if you would like just email me for some pics.. It's basicanlly on the drivers side right where the bumper bolts to fender although the bumper i's slightly split at tht part like it's still bolted tonfender but it split right under it ! Honestly not noticeable unless you pull on the bumper where it's split , I think it sounds worse than it i's , either way I'm going a diff route.

I think you could just put some epoxy in there and it would be good to go.

Epoxy? Will that hold up you think? It's split though, the bolt i's till there holding my bumper and it's split !

 

I'm a local, but 500 for damaged goods doesn't sound so appealing.
