So I've finished my first attempt at chrome delete with the plasti dip ... for now. I will likely end up redoing the mt fuji and the letter G though. The surface was not as smooth as I had hoped.
It is really easy to come off. I left mine on for maybe 3 hrs or so (as I had a thick application done) and the part that was on the paint came right off with little effort.

OK in short from the DIY that was posted and got removed This is what I did.
1.taped off a squared area for the letters and mnt fuji
2. sprayed layers of plastidip every 5-10 minutes or so making sure it's not too drippy so it's not running. I did it until there was a relatively thick semi dried coating as it's easier to peel when it's thick.
3. left it to dry for a few hrs (2-3). (I did mine at night, but just test feel it for dryness)
4. When you begin peeling it should separate from the corners but kinda pull it as you peel it.
if it's messed up somehow just peel it all off and redo it.
