Clearcorners.com Painted Headlights

Here are a few pics of my lights done by clearcorners.com Painted Aspen Pearl. They have white and orange leds so when you turn your signal on they flash orange.

These pictures where taken with only my iphone. nothing fancy.

And the LEDs are very similar to the ones 180custom uses. They are not standard house hold LEDs.

Looks good, but the LEDs in the projector seems weaker than the Arcreactor/Ironman.

very nice work!!

Though the LEDs themselves do look a bit smaller and weaker than those that I have seen on Audis, porsches, and 180Custom's Ironman Gs.

LED's are too small, there are too many, and they are uneven on the side strip.
Paint looks good, LED's flashing for turn signal is a cool idea but I would need a video to make an opinion on that.

Just my opinion, as long as you like them that's all that matters.

I like the paint job, not a big fan of the strip though

On another note, is it only me or is the paint on your front bumper off?

Note that they replaced the amber marker with a new cleared one. I wonder if they are making it themselves so found a source? I would like to find just the clear side markers. Anyone know where they got them?

I don't know if they source them somewhere or make their own. I've seen their work before in person (not on a G37) and it looked excellent, very OEM. Someone posted earlier a link to how to make your own clear lenses. The final product looked pretty good to me.

Actually they make it themselves. All you need is a sheet of florescent light cover, can be purchased at Home Depot. You take the original reflector, out line it on the sheet and cut it out. I used to do this back in 2006 on Maximas, but then felt that it wasn't OEM enough to offer it to people so I stopped, really looks cheesy and stands out too much in person.

As far as the LED's go, they're definitely those cheap 5mm LED's, they're just too close to each other and from far away it looks like one solid strip. I love their craftsmanship but their LED's are a huge fail.

I can't speak for what you did in the past, but I have seen their work in person and they are most certainly NOT a cheesy piece of Home Depot fluorescent light cover by a long shot. I don't know where you got that from but it's not even close to being true. The link I posted to shows a DIY of how to make one exactly like OEM. Maybe they do that to make their own and maybe they source them from elsewhere, I don't know. But I do know that they aren't what you are saying they are.

I also don't know what type of LEDs they use, the ones I've seen of theirs are plenty bright enough though.
