As far as the LED's go, they're definitely those cheap 5mm LED's, they're just too close to each other and from far away it looks like one solid strip. I love their craftsmanship but their LED's are a huge fail.

Bashing a competitors product like that is a very unprofessional business practice. Just because your work is top notch doesn't give you the right to go on describing their products as "cheap", not publicly at least.

Haha Sam you beat me too it. I agree, i have noticed that anything posted about other led/lighting work they come in and try and bash anything and everything they can. Not to mention even going out of their way to make a full on thread bashing the "competition" and why they should go to them(When really working on headlight is pretty damn simple, any person with average mechanical skills can do just as good a job. Just don't let everyone see this haha). To me it just makes them look like money hungry A-holes . I have nothing personal against 180 but this is something that i have noticed as well, so i'm glad im not the only one paying attention!!!

Oh, do you work there?
You cant be so sure of what they did or didnt do unless you did it.
From what we see in those pictures that clear reflector looks exactly like the stuff igor posted. Not like a clear replica of the oem amber reflector.
We know how to make clear replicas, its just too time consuming to do. So were looking into having them mass produced.

they are not even the same type. Like i stated i'm almost positive they use plcc smt leds. Good ones like the ones clear corners uses emit the same light as your piranha leds(which upon further research you will find that there are even better choices than the oznium ones you guys use, assuming you're still using oznium leds) There are actually quite a bit of LED gurus over on HID Planet that feel oznium leds are good but def. not the best. The plcc leds are so much smaller that of course if you take one and one the pirannah leds will emit a wider range of light due to their size. IMO and the knowledge that i have on leds their leds are just as good as the ones you use, they are simply different leds that are much smaller. Just because they are smaller doesn't mean they are worse quality! You guys do great work but really working on led's is far from rocket science. I will say that CC's does charge WAAAAAAAAAAY to much for their work and i'm actually very surprised they are still in business, although their work is the best i've seen i still dont believe that justifies their prices, but that's just me.
