I was hoping they were working on a new motor idea or power added
He turned the G into an A4/A5 and no 6 speed.. Looks very good though just like Audi, I'm sure the coupe will look nice also, failed on power though.

Every one has different taste but I think Infiniti did a great job with the full redesign inside and out.
As for the people disappointed about Power bump_ Was I the only one who watch the unveiling The newly added hybrid engine does increase power to 360hp. Additional, pairing the 3.5 liter with an electric motor means an increase in torque as well, while still increasing gas mileage. Just a guess but that would it quicker than any of our cars lol
it was clearly stated that a turbo 4 engine will be available down the road. If you think back to when the G37 sedan was first introduced, they release it with the old 3.5 VQ engine and a year later bumped it up. Based on this and official turbo talk, one can safely assume that the new turbo 4 will make it's debut next year in the Q50. I would not be surprised if around the same time the VQ engine was replaced with a new turbo 6 (probably a 3.0~3.5 L) debuting in the Q60 producing slightly more hp but significantly more tq than the current VQ while still doing better on gas mileage.
Also let's not forget that this unveiling was really centric on the hybrid model while offering a look to the new design expression of Infiniti. 6MT option isn't going to be magically done away with from the Sport model lol
All around this is solid and I'd buy one if I wasn't more interested in the Q60.

saw this post yesterday and I thought, Infiniti screwed up the design again. But saw the whole animated presentation on the Infiniti sight and I thought, this has potential. The pictures might not do justice on certain angles but the videos are fine. Definitely is not a Lexus inspired and is 10 times better than that or any hyundai or Honda. Body is sleeker and has sharper lines. Front end bumper/lip is pretty good, LED lights are being used but not in the same lines as Audi or any other copies of that. The grill is bit oversized, but easily fixable by the aftermarket industry.
Like the interior, interface to fine tune the torque, ride, etc is a good touch. I could see integrating your Apps with the built in interface. Maybe a Blackberry platform.
I like the engine options, not sure why they're offering the 3.7 L. 3.5(maybe HR) is already a proven performer aided by electric motor which are known for torques would probably have a killer off the line performance. Good concept and better than doing forced induction if Nissan/Infiniti got it right with the dual clutch.
I'm sure the 3.5HR engine NA mods like the intakes, exhaust, headers can be done to the engine. This engine is already being used on the infiniti M35H, 1/4 times are 13.9 on this car.
