I used a q-tip to wipe off the excess over run...if you dye and then wipe over it, you won't get a deep color..think of it like coloring when you were a kid-try hard to stay within the lines and wipe off the small excess w/ the q-tip

Anyone have any updates on how this looks months after? Have you had to redo the coloring? Also, has anyone tried restoring the stitching to white?

Any more pics of G Owners doing this? I saw alot of people say "this will be my next mod" but i only say two different cars (yellow and red). Im interested in doing it, Im also interested in knowing if it is possible to restore back to OEM white?

I did the stitching in my car about 7 months ago and it still looks like the day I did it. No it doesn't bleed and it looks like it belongs. I am not sure why you would want to go back to white even with a lease as if you do it in a color like red with black seats it doesn't look out of place. I took my wife 4 months and me pointing out to her that I did it for her to realized it was something I did. Now if you did it in yellow and returned your lease it would definitely raise a red flag. But the red on the black leather looks great. Since Infiniti has black leather seats with red stitching I really don't think it would be a bad thing.
