1SMOKEYG - Could you post pictures of the red stitching? I have the GT-R pust start and was thinking red stitching on the steering wheel would compliment it nicely, just not sure if I'm ready to take the plunge.

Post pics, you should try and color your mats back white. I picked up red just not sure if I'll be able to change them back afterwards.

didn't have time to figure out how to put a pic up, so here's two links...not the best pics but my phone was all I had...FYI, you will need to use leather cleaner for the leather around it once the dye is completely dry and then shine it back up to get rid of the hue that comes from wiping off the excess...some say it's cheesy, but I'm cool with it...oh, and can't dye black, maybe I used the fine tip dye marker, but I tried and it didn't work...

Ok, I'll ask the question that I'm sure many on this forum have already thought of: could there be any possible chemical reaction between these color ink/dyes with the leather cleaner/conditioners that we use? It really wouldn't do to have the colors smearing and melting down into the vehicles leather seats. Any volunteeers to try it out? If these colors are TRULY color fast under all conditions, then fine - I too am interested in changing the color of my embroidery.

For purely informational reasons, i decided to experiment to see what happens if you put the leather cleaner/conditioner over the dyed area - rubs the dye off...needless to say, I'll be re-doing the infiniti letters! lol.

How long are you guys leaving the ink on the threading before wiping? Seems like it wipes right off every time...
