I love seeing all of these very tastefully modded LP sedans on the forum, gives me lots of ideas. I actually like the look of the Volks a bit better, but either wheel combination looks killer with great fit. Always been a little partial to wheels with polished lips.

Did you paint your grill or buy one of those midnight grills?

I got the last of my parts. No more after this for a while.... Tein SS-P coilovers and SPC front control arms. I should have them on in the next few days....

Did you notice a difference in performance after you switched the setup? Braking, acceleration, cornering etc.

I don't notice much of a difference, but I have not pushed the car very hard with the new wheels because of some slight rubbing. This will be corrected when I install the front control arms and get another alignment.

Weight wise, these are a tad lighter than my Volk's, and a few pounds lighter than the stock 18's. The Volk's with tires were around 54 lbs., these are just under that, and the stock wheels were around 55 (I think).

Tires will have the biggest impact on the things you mentioned. Braking and handling are more of a by-product of traction than anything else. Overall, the Yokohama S-drives are pretty similar to the Falken FK-452, BFG KDW, and Bridgestone RE-050 tires I have run previously on this car. So, I guess the answer is that I don't expect much of a change even with the larger wheels.

I do expect the coilovers to be a big improvement over the Eibach/stock shock setup I have now. I am not a huge fan of the current setup in terms of both ride quality or performance. I think the Tein coilovers will help both.

I LOVE your new rims! They look so nice It goes perfect with the color scheme of your car. Post some more pics when you get the center caps in. I'd love to see that. How much did you pay for all 4 wheels and tires?

I got the center caps in, and they are on. No pics for now because I have only been home for a few days over the past several weeks.

The wheels were about $2850, center caps $225, and tires around $900.
