Autokits Carbon Fiber V2 with Refitted Splash Guard
So after receiving my CF V2 Diffuser and did a trial fit, I noticed this condition
(picture from Autokits website)
I hated how there was a gap between the diffuser and the rear splash guard.
So i decided to take the rear splash guards off to attempt a better fit.
So after spending 5 hours, this was the end result,
I'm very very satisfied with it!!
I spend more then 2 hours just taking off the double sided tape off the rear bumper, and the splash guard. it was a pain in the f'ing a's's!!!!! lol
Another hour and a half or so was spend on enlarging the mounting holes on the bottom of the splash guard because i had to refit it.
Thanks for looking!!
I know it doesn't look like CF, but it was really dark outside so the CF threads were not reflecting off anything lol

I agree!!! I can really appreciate the hours put into it making it right. The fact that it bugged you and you took the time to fix it, is what it's all about.
Respect!

Nice work! I, too, noticed that some had larger gaps between the diffuser and splash guards. Mines not too bad, but still bothers me a little. From which end did you start pulling off the splash guards? My main concern is whether or not the paint might crack from pulling too hard.

2 screws inside the wheel well, 1 pushpin on the bottom, and 1 bolt on the bottom next to the pushpin.
Take the fasteners off first, then work from the wheel well out towards the rear of the bumber,
make sure you do it SLOWLY!! or you might break your splash guard.
And to address your concern about paint peeling,
I did use a sharp box knife to carefully cut the adhesive,
the adhesive doesnt come off clean, it will stretch and tear off.
you can help the tearing by carefully using your knife
becareful not to scratch you paint with the knife though

Some people wouldnt even bother to get that done, but you have dedication to make it perfect. Thats whats up! And it looks good! much more fluid with the car. Rear stance is looking great!
respect for your taste ...
