Question, my grill has some really small rock chips. Do you think this would affect the paint process?
Thanks bro! No it won't effect the process, it will look the same but just less noticeable since its darker in color. When you go to clean the surface prepping for paint, I would use a microfiber cloth with alcohol as you would to remove grease. This will also grab any loose debris where it is chipped before painting since microfiber cloths are very good at this. Just rub a bit hard in a circular motion on those chipped sections to get all rough edges out since we cant sand it down, its chrome and any sanding will be seen through the translucent base coat.

Thanks Diego! I knew you'd like it if you had seen it in person. It's one of those things you have to see to appreciate in person.
I'll be doing one of these for free to finish up the DIY video. Looks like Gilbert is my victim lol!
I'm also looking forward to the DIY. I've been wanting to do something with my grille, I just don't want completely black. This may be the perfect alternative, yours looks amazing!
Guys, video will be delayed since I still need to take a few more shots and weather has been rainy on now this past 2 weeks here in Miami, so I should have a video done in a week or 2. I'll post here when I do.
