I remember a sedan that 180 customs did. It was black with green accents. It looked really good.

I used photoshop. I did a few others here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/photosh...-colors-2.html

If you're still looking for other options and are talented with PS, I did mine with a quick & dirty hue shift.

1) Select area you want to change color of
2) Image --> Adjustments --> Hue / Saturation
3) Move Hue meter to desired effect.
4) Add / remove saturation as necessary

hey OP,

nice start!
some suggestions:
1. eibach/swift drop
2. polish the taillights some more!!!
3. another coat of plastidip after it dries (approximately after 30min) will give it a more matte//semireflective look. currently, it looks flat and makes your car look dirty. just imho, and sorry if youre not using plastidip; it looks like it.
4. save up for a sport bumper

Yeah future mods are IPL bumper. I cant drop it because of my dad -__- He drives it around a town called new brunswick near me and there are lots of potholes. He said lowered cars wont drive there.

there is plastidip on it... idk how you knew but i put plastidip on it when it was winter and when it gets warmer, im going to spray clearcoat plastidip on it. so it will stay shiny

I also have nightshade on the tails which makes it look dull. I didnt sand them down before i put the nightshade on. I am wondering if i can spray clear coat on the nightshade.

Everything I am doing to the car, I want to make it reversible. I just got it. But I might trade it in for the new g that will come out in the future

here's how i did the tails,

sand down with 1000 grit
night shade to my liking
clearcoat
sand with 1500
polish
(optional clear coating)
sand with 2000
polish polish

make sure you wait at least a couple of hours before you start sanding/polishing. you need to let the clear coat completely dry. i waited nearly a day. how can you tell? put you nose up to it and if you smell chemically fumes, its not dry!

this whole process can be reversed with laquer thinner. it makes the stuff come right off, too! you can polish away 1000 grit wet sand easily with a polisher so dont worry

---

ive used plastidip alot so i can tell
clear coat on top of plastidip doesnt always come out to my liking :P itll prolly never be glossy. youll probably go as far as semi-gloss. i prefer the extra-latter coat as i mentioned earlier to get a less flat black look!

Rims Question

Hey awesome job on the car, i know this thread is over two years old but i was wondering since i want to do what you did with your rims, how you went about spraying the green plastidip onto the rims. Thank you.
