I totally agree with you about the Seibon TS replica hood. Fitment on that is just ****.

But I have this spoiler color matched to my car and it fits perfectly as long as you are not installing it over the OEM spoiler. It was designed to replaced to the OEM spoiler, not cover it up. I had the OEM chrome piece and picked this part up off another member who had already done the paint match to PG and it fits like a great on my car.

OP, I would have just sold that spoiler to someone else rather than hack it to pieces. But +1 for having fun with it and being creative I guess.

The edge of the spoiler was masked off before paint to leave a small strip of the CF exposed. It is mounted with 3m exterior double sided tape.. Ill have to get a better pic later of the CF strip. The 3rd brake light area was also filled in and painted over because I have the 3rd brake light in the rear window. Here is just to get an idea.
