The headlights look great. Gives the car a menacing look. BTW, is that grille stock? If so then did you paint it black, if not then what grille is it? I am wanting to get rid of all that chrome on my front end.

Awesome man, great job! I have my projector shrouds and headlight housings custom painted on my 350z. Definitely one of the most complimented mods I've done to mine. Its funny how such a simple thing can make a car look 100x better. Keep up the good work!

Actually, out of curiosity, has anyone ever attempted to do an angel eye mod behind the projector shroud, and then sand the high spots until the plastic shroud is clear, allowing the light to shine through? They are really popular on the Z's, but I have only seen Halo's done on the exterior of the shroud on the G37's. Something similar to this, except on the G37 lights.

Sorry for the crappy cell pics, it looks a lot better in person.

Thanks guys for the great feedback, i appreciate all your input!

The grille is the stock unit painted black. I wanted the entire black look also. The dealer midnight grille (?) replacement still has the chrome upper and lower edges. Here's a pic of the surface, partway through sanding, before paint:

Thanks for the information. It looks great on the car. I am still trying to decide if it will look as good with my blue slate. Did you do the paint or have a body shop paint it? I agree that the dealer midnight grill with the chrome top and bottom just doesn't do it for me.

I did the paint work myself. I think it would definitely look good on blue slate, you could also go with dark graphite... might flow better with the car then jet black

That is what I was thinking, a dark graphite or maybe a darkish gunmetal gray.

I might do them in the future. I want to get rid of the chrome grille first and I was admiring the OPs black grille.

I actually am a big fan of the new midnight grille, but for the look that you're going for, i would 100% agree that a fully black grille on your car would flow better
