※※!!!! Infiniti G37S in South Korea !!!!※※
I am currently back in my home country Korea for the winter vacation. I happened to find Korean Infiniti Forum, and I had to join =).
I have to say, they are very active members (monthly, or weekly meets, carwash meets and even they have "end of year dinner" thing all together with familiies . I could percieve tgat they not only have one common interest in Infiniti, but also they are trying to make good friends, realationships, and connections in the meets. They also love to mod their cars as much as we do. (altho cost a lot lot lot more than U.S. esepcailly in after market parts). I remember someone here on the MyG37 forum said "there are not that much G37, / Infinitis in Korea, etc" but I think there are a lottt, and number is growing rapidly for sure.
Currently, there are 31268 member in that Korean Infiniti forum. Not everyone is an owner but most are.
When I first joined this Korean forum, I first imagined that there is no way people can drop cars like how people do in U.S.A. Seoul Korea has really nice, clean and smooth road, but the inclines and declines in parking garage, department stores, or in driveways are crazily rediculous. But surprisingly lots of people were slammed on lowering springs and Coilovers, (mainly on KW K3). I don't know how they drive though.
One thing I want to point out is that, the price imported cars, and aftermarket parts are ridiculous. In Korea, most cars (not just infinitis but Bimmers, Merc, Audis etc) come already with fully loaded option. For G37 even 4WAS, Spoiler, (chrome rear deck does not exist, No tech pack tho, cuz you don't need and can't use it in Korea =) ).
Coupe is priced about 72900 USD before tax, and other fees (If exchange rate 1000 Won = 1 Dollar) To be exact, it's about 1100 Won for $1 now so... more than 65k before tax, and fees. so.. haha
And I saw the Tein S-Tech Spring in Korean Vendor section (which I have and bought for $220 back then here in US), was selling for about 800 USD. WTF then how expensive is coils, wheels? lol
One interesting thing is in Korean 09 Coupes come without the yellow sidemarker, it comes just silver(?) like how we want it so bad. But people liked amber more and from year 10, infiniti changed back to amber. lol So I am gonna try to find that sidemarker piece and bring it back to U.S and try it on my car. lol
Here are the Pictures. There are a lot more pictures on the forum but I will try to get them little by little.
Most car might look similar with the common mods of being headlight mods (like current 2011 ones, most people already had that smoked headlight look long time ago), DARK Tint, and painted grille or wheels (just like people US).
ENJOY IT CUZ IT TOOK ME SO MUCH TIME AND IT WAS PITA

Some interesting ideas that I haven't seen before. Even a coupe on TE37s! Don't see that often, which is strange bc I think the TE37 is one of those wheels that looks good on almost every car.
