Anyway, I was heading up to another guy's place to do the HFCs I just bought (you can see my stock cat in pic#3 actually). I went to hop on the I-15N and the onramp I was on curves around 180 degrees. As I got to the bottom I hit a huge puddle (huge like I was worried about my CAI) and the car hydroplaned. I was only doing about 25 mph which is extremely conservative for that specific onramp and I was most definitely not on the gas. VDC couldn't do anything because there was nothing for the tires to bite into. I ended up doing a full 180 up over the curb onto the sloped area under the overpass, into all the ice plants. The bumper is bent up but I finagled it into something that will get me by for now. The wheel needs repairs badly, my exhaust tips are literally flat and about 3/4 the diameter they were, and that filter though bent is still okay. Oh, and that bottom vent actually clipped right back in without issue.

Hey, at least I have free salad for the next week. Or year. Don't drive behind me next meet.
Anyone recommend a shop in San Diego for the wheel? Already got someone looking into it but I need any and all ideas. I don't keep a set of stocks around.

As far as I can tell, yeah.
The tire only maintains about 16-18 psi so basically it's only drivable enough to limp slowly to the shop in the morning. Tire needs replaced too, it has sidewall damage, so that's two new tires.
Other than that the bumper is bent up and scraped, so I'm guessing they're replacing that too, we'll see.
I was almost thinking the flat bottom looked somewhat cool actually, if it wasn't obviously dinged to hell.
