California plants ice plants everywhere as a cheapass way of trying to look greener. Unfortunately San Diego still looks brown, but hey it's good padding when you go off road....?
So I dropped the car off like 45 minutes ago. They gave me a Chevy Cobalt.
This is easily the worst car I've ever driven in my life. Hands down the worst driving experience I've ever had. Don't ever get a Cobalt.

Dang man, I'm really sorry to see this. That sucks, those wheels were gorgeous when you came by my place... Sorry to hear dude.
At least your bumper holes will be filled in now, and while your car is down, if you wanna get those headlights painted or trade, now would be the time, as long as no damage was done to them too

Anyway, the bumper is all bent up so they're replacing it, the engine under cover is punctured where it bounced off the bottom of the car, and somehow I managed to crack the radiator support, so all of that is getting replaced. The wheel is getting replaced too but I might ask them if I can just get it repaired by a local shop... they told me they called SSR and the reply they got was 3 months wait because it's made to order.

HAH! I'm glad I'm not the only one that was thinking that. If it was a little more subtle like the left one, and bent like that from the factory, I think it would have actually looked good too.

6 months later now.
Everything is fixed at this point. Wheel lips are scratched up though, which I don't really know what to do about that.. they're chrome. New front bumper, told them not to drill the holes. They did paint that bottom diffuser thing that's supposed to be black, which irked me a little. Finally got my replacement air filter in too, but I'm about to bring my intakes back to stock anyway.
I'm only updating this now because my insurance just shot through the roof with my policy renewal, from $175/mo to about $415/mo.
Needless to say I no longer trust Geico after they did this for a small accident after 10 years of a squeaky clean driving record (I don't even have a damned parking ticket). They treated me like I was out to scam the company while I was going through the claims process, too. I did however change insurance companies and I'm actually paying a little less than I was to begin with. Anyway, I guess I'm posting to say beware of Geico. And to ask if anyone knows what to do about my wheel lips.
