Painted headlights and grill

Hey all,

I decided to give my lights and grill to jonathan (slammed37s) so that he can paint them. I think the lights came out great and the grill came out spectacular! I should of done the grill a long long time ago, buts its ok. Unfortunately, we really dont have the tools (airbrush), good masking skill, and time to mask off the inner fog to keep it chrome so we decided to just paint it. Im happy either way because i dont use my fogs at all, so it doesnt really matter.

At first we wanted to leave the turn signal chrome but when we saw it chrome with everything else black it looked super bad =/ ... the only way it will look good if your able to leave the inner fog chrome to balance it with the turn signal chrome. Other than that it just looks like a huge chrome block in your head light.

We went with satin black housing, gloss black fog, gloss black turn signal, silver metalic shroud, satin black bullets, and clear strip.

My intentions were to match the grill with the light housing, chrome emblem to match the lip of the wheels, gloss black turn signal and fog to match the car, and silver shroud to match the face of the cv2.

For the grill we did satin black and left the emblem chrome.

I am very happy with my lights and grill, next thing thats coming is the stillen splitter for the 3rd time ! lol

All comments are welcome, big thanks to jonthan for great work !

FOR DIEGO -.- you have to see it in person to like it from further away, trust me .....

That in all honesty is a better combo than what you originally had in mind. This flows effortlessly

Looks great! Did you guys bake the headlights or used a heat gun to open them up and seal back?

Thanks guys for all the great comments, telling you the car looks so awesome with the wheel and light/grill combo.

It took about 4 hours for everything and we cooked the headlights in the oven, took it apart and then heated the glue to put it back on. Sealed perfect, so far no condensation or water in them.

make sure you double seal them, condensation will seep in. This will happen guaranteed!
