OP, when you pulled up the tape did the plasti-dip come up with it? if so, what did you do to get the tape off???

Update!

Wow. I don't know how I missed all of these posts.

Yes pulling the tape off is kinda tricky because the plasti dip has a habit of sticking to the tape. It WILL create a rigid line if you allow it to dry long enough but over time the line will flatten at become less noticeable. You really have to get closer than 1' to notice it. So definitely remove the tape as soon as you apply your last coat.

I have had the plasti dip installed for over 8 months now and it looks as good as it did the first day. The grill still looks the same too. No paint chips or rock chips. I am absolutely amazed by how durable this stuff is. I had my doubts but they are gone now. And it even held up well near the exhaust tips so it appears to withstand heat very well.

I talked my cousin into doing his grill and rear valence on his 35 coupe. Here are the pics.
