Plasti-Dip works wonders!
Just got finished up spraying my stock 19s with Plasti-Dip today, Just a few pics on how things turned out. They are cellphone pics so aren't the best quailty, ill try and get some better ones soon. Also got some older pics from a few weeks ago when i did my rear emblems with Plasti-dip as well. Its amazing what a $6 dollar spray can, a lilttle sweat, and some blood lol can do haha! Enjoy!
UPDATED PICS!
Car is a little dirty
Rear Emblem Close Up.
Roof wasn't completely dry yet, thats why it looks wet in some spots.

Ya it seems like it does pretty well, i've had this stuff on my rear valence for a while now and i had a little scratch in it once from backing up into someone and i just got out grabbed the can and sprayed it over in that area real quick and it was good as new, so its a sinch to touch up if you ever need too.

Yes, i just masked all around, was a bit of a hassle to get into the tiny areas but i got it done. It would be much easier if you take them off but i was like you and didn't want too haha, so it can be done.

Not bad, how long did it take you paint the wheels/how many cans of plastidip?
I was thinking about doing this but I don't have 4 jackstands and I park in a public garage so it would be weird to have my car sitting up on stands with just 2 wheels haha.
I have this stuff on my front grill and its very durable, I would even go as far as to say these would probably be more chip resistant than a professional paint (read: not powdercoat) job.
Definitely try to post some better pictures if you can full profile shots in daylight if possible.

Congrats and I have done the same thing to my wheels and grille. The grill is perfect still...I did have to redo a wheel from my first curb rash experience. Not a big deal since all you have to do is peel and re-spray. Peeling this stuff off a wheel is easier when it is applied thick so I would go with about a can per wheel. It's not hard by any means with less but just a tad easier with more. Peeling and respray and my wheels back on the car all in about an hour and a half.
Good job man!

What about the heat from the wheels? I know nothing about Plasti dip but is it safe for higher temperatures? I've had my wheels get pretty hot after some spirited driving!
