Sorry, I spray painted it, not dipped it. Dipping it would require much more plasti dip than one can aha. I'm not sure how he's experiencing chipping. I believe I went over grille with about 3 layers. No chipping whatsoever. The only places where it looks like I have chipping are places where there was bird poop and I decided to use Bug and Tar remover on it. Doing that just ate the synthetic rubber paint away.

Ok...so you didn't prime or sand first either? how long have you had it on?

I did my grille yesterday as well. If you are skeptical on how easy it is to take off of something then just buy a can of it and use it on something else.

No, I did not prime it or sand it. If I did, I would have gotten a different type of paint and made my grille gloss black instead. And as I said in my first post, I've had this on for about a year now.

Did the same, easy as pie. The point of plastidip is not to have to sand prime etc.

One month...2100 miles and everything still looks good on both the wheels and grille.

Oh man this works wonders!! Wow it must really work. I'm still in college and broke...I'm going to see how it'd look on the whole car- thank god i dont have to spend hundreds on the clear bra. this'll protect it much better! plus ive been trying to go for the matt black look for the paint. wayy cool- ill see how it goes! thanks

OP, im trying to do this myself too but i have a question. do you spray the inside of the wheel and the back too or just the front?
