Seriously, you didn't do any kind of photo-optimization? Sure looks like a trip through PS to me but if not, your camera skills are better than you claim.
Thanks man, no I didn't do anything to them. I don't have photoshop but I wish I did. It's pretty expensive and I don't want to take risks trying to get a bootleg copy.
The garage just had really good lighting so it makes my camera skills look better than they actually are.
You can check out some more of my pictures on my flickr page.
For the valance I used a piece of brown kraft paper (generic roll of large thin paper) and taped it on the valence, then traced the outline with a marker. Took it off, cut the template, traced on to vinyl, cut vinyl, then applied vinyl.
I did it a little different than bats overlays, I took my valance edge all the way to the splash guard and tucked it underneath rather than leaving a gap. I'll get some close ups this weekend.
911 turbo: see earlier post, I ordered it through a local sign shop.
Looks good. I think you should so something to the front also.
Yea, I don't really know what to do though. It's a lease so I can't paint the headlights and I'm pretty sure the stillen splitter requires you to drill like 980234 holes on the underside of the bumper to keep it from falling off.
would be interested in the vinyl roll but only if you wouldnt mind helping me install? im in the northern va area.
I'll be honest, it takes a lot of time and patience to do well and I don't think I would want to do it again. You kind of just have to set aside a whole day to work on it and be prepared to test your patience. If you really don't want to do it yourself I would call around to tint/graphic shops to see how much they would do it for.
Its not necessarily "difficult" you just have to keep working at it and go slowly.
I know a guy here in Richmond who does vinyl installs, if you want to drive down and pay him to do it you can PM me for details.
