Not a fan of super-stretched tires on my own car, but I think they look pretty cool. Kinda like when I appreciate outrageous paint schemes and body kits on show cars.

As mentioned in the previous pages, streching tires is to give you the most fender clearance w/o having to sacrafice pulling your fenders and/or aggressive fender mods. It also gives the car a more aggressive overall stance. Nobody cares about what tires you have or what they look like. It's about the look of thr car and rims. Streching gives the wheels a more aggressive/stand out look. The "VIP" coumminty uses streching more for function than looks but here in the states streching is becoming more common for looks and function. People are also scared of what they don't know about streching and only see what they believe is unsafe or unpracticle. Yes it can be un safe but so is driving at 130+ in traffic or even running normal tires w/ the wrong amount of PSI hahaha. The only problem I've had w/ streching is the ware which is some what normal Hahahaa.
My car is a daily driver and I'm running a
19X10 -5 225-35 and a
19X11 -5 235-35

Haven't had any issues at all w/ these. *knocks on wood As long as your careful how you drive/where and not tryna have the craziest strech and only go for whats needed then you'll be fine.
I LOVE!!! the strech look and would do it to every car I owned if I could, jus looks so much better than fat tires

Here's pics of my strech w/ a 245-35 on 11s

and here's my current set 235-35

ignorance is bliss,
people are scared and/or hate on what they don't know

and again this white 37 is SICK!!!!!!
your car is sickkkkkkkk! thanks for sharing! are you on bags btw!

+1, I hate the stretched tire look. It seems like almost every VW w/ aftermarket wheels has stretched tire and I can't stand it!
